DESCRIPTION
COMM 181, Internet Communication, is an entirely online, upper-division, elective class offered by San José State U. In this class, we'll explore the impact of internet-based communication on society, organizations,
interpersonal relationships, and identity. The class also provides an introduction to online media construction and analysis with particular emphasis on the web. That is, students learn to fulfill both the producer and consumer roles in internet communication. Class activities, discussions, readings and assignments are designed to develop communication skills necessary for effective internet communication.
