(posted August 18, 2004) About. COMM 133, Ethical Problems in Communication, is an entirely online, upper-division, elective class offered by San José State U. This class focuses on the moral aspects of communication, using narrative to examine ethical issues in everyday situations. Class activities, discussions, readings and assignments are designed to develop communication skills necessary for effectively addressing ethical problems in a variety of professional and social contexts. You have three main assignments in this class: Online discussion, open book multiple-choice quizzes, project (analysis of a novel, film, tv show, or play). Important pages. WebCT College Edition (CE) 4.0 is not compatible with all browsers such as Firefox, Opera, Safari, and some versions of Netscape and Mozilla. Please go to the WebCT main page right now, click on "Check Browser" in the upper right corner, and make sure your browser will work. Do the tune-ups necessary if you have a version that is not compatible with WebCT. Help desk. Because this is an online class, there are occasional technical problems.
