Description The underlying theme of this class is the struggle to construct a diverse and equitable society in the face of structural biases toward inequality. This course is an introduction to human communication and surveys a wide variety of contexts, including interpersonal, intercultural, small group, organizational, public, and mediated communication. COMM 105 fulfills 3 units of upper-division GE requirements in the Self, Society, and Equality in the U.S. area. Students MUST have taken and passed the Writing Skills Test (WST) before registering for COMM 105.
Adding the Class Unfortunately, the class is over-enrolled, so I won't be adding any more students this semester.
